About Rhoda's House - Freeland, MI
Rhoda’s House was started in 1965 by Rhoda’s parents, David and Alta Kindy, under the Kindy name. The facility has been continually licensed for 40+ years and Rhoda has been involved in resident care since she was a teen. Family life has been her heritage, training, and faith. With similar faith, Rhoda’s husband Bruce joined in management and care at Brooks Road in 1983; the involvement of their six children and family pets continues to offer the home like atmosphere needed in residents lives.
